Allied Floors has been serving the southeast Michigan area for nearly a decade. We are a small company of three very hard working floor guys that take pride in our work. And appreciate the innate beauty that is a finely finished hard wood floor.

We pride ourselves on creating the highest quality floors possible. Often going to lengths that cost us added time and expense. Along with using as much as twice the recommended amount of nails on installs we also use quality serrated cleats rather then the cheaper staple based alternatives. When an adhesive is called for we use Liquidnails, it has the benefit of being able to move and give a little with the floor rather then turning brittle and breaking away from the wood. We put on thicker coatings on our floors so that the finish will have a little more depth and longevity. Unless specified by a particular finish system we never use sealers coats. Sealer coats are typically a thin coat of a fast drying lacquer. They are less expensive, less durable, and dry much faster then the actual finish coats. Our floors use nothing but quality contractor grades finishes from first coat to the last. These are just a few of the small details that combine with others to create a superior floor.

Chris Pyne is the owner/operator and has been with Allied Floors since its inception. He's hardworking, straight forward, and honest individual. He is the type of guy that enjoys what he does and enjoys the feeling of a job well done. His energy and ethic shows through in his work and is the reason we are willing to go that extra mile to produce an exceptional floor.
